Rumor Chi Chi LaRue Free Appearance – Friday the 3rd of March

As part of the lead up to the infamous Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, one of the world’s most recognizable drag personalities and movie director. Chi Chi LaRue is rumored to be appearing LIVE and FREE for a chat and autograph signing on the 3rd of March between 6pm to 7pm at Park Street Books, Level 2, 44 Park Street, Sydney. Park Street Books was also formerly known as ‘The Gay Exchange’.

Chi Chi LaRue is said to be coming with a friend and associate, Lady Rosa! Alongside these two star studded celebrities will be famous gay adult movie stars Brent Corrigan and JJ Knight!

Chi Chi LaRue’s real name is Larry David Paciotti and conducts most of his business as his drag queen’s name. Chi Chi LaRue’s career began when he moved to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area where he performed in drag as one-half of “The Weather Gals” and a “Hag Drag” revue.

He and a friend moved to California. He was hired by Catalina Video as an administrative assistant and publicist because of his knowledge within the workings of the adult movie industry. He moved up the line through responsibility, talent and creativity. Chi Chi LaRue became a significant presence in the adult movie industry and began to direct high demand adult movies. Since 1998, Chi Chi LaRue has now directed hundreds of gay adult movie films which are mainly for Falcon Studios. He now also owns “Catalina Video” a label under his umbrella company Channel 1 Releasing.

In 2003, he began to divide his directorial time between Vivid Video. He gets along with much of the female talent at Vivid Video particularly Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick.

In March 2004, he prepared to travel to London and direct “Taking Flight” the studios 2 part annual travelogue. Sadly, Chi Chi LaRue had a mild heart attack Instead of deserting the production, Falcon Studios hired Chris Steele who was the script’s author to direct.

In 2005, Chi Chi LaRue shot his last film for Falcon Studios called “Heaven to Hell which was about the tale of an angel sexually tempted by the Devil who was then cast into hell. It was the only adult movie to ever to cast the Falcon Studios exclusives. Chi Chi LaRue then divided his attention between Vivid Video; and his own Rascal Video.

In 2006, Chi Chi LaRue announced that he would no longer produce films for Vivid Video because they were featuring actors and actresses having sex without condoms.

In 2007, Chi Chi LaRue was chosen as one of Out Magazine’s Top 50 most influential people in the LGBTQI community.

In August 2008, he directed the controversial bisexual film titled “Shifting Gears. He coined the term “straight-for-pay” which was a play on word for “gay-for-pay”, to describe performer Blake Riley’s first encounter with a woman.

In 2012, LaRue directed the music video for “Trouble” by RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Willam Belli, which premiered on Logo TV.

Chi Chi LaRue is an award winning adult movie director. His awards include:
